Gemma has more than 20 years’ experience within scientific fields; initially in molecular microbiology and infectious diseases before moving into Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs. As a Consultant with Solve, Gemma is involved in supporting our partners with the preparation of regulatory strategies and documentation for the registration of new medicines. Gemma has quickly found her feet in the field of Regulatory Affairs where her keen eye for detail and perfectionist tendencies make her a great asset to the team!
Prior to joining Solve, Gemma worked at the Australian Rickettsial Reference Laboratory where she led the development of a novel veterinary vaccine which involved the development of the cGMP manufacturing process and establishment of a full QMS. Gemma was also involved in establishing a COVID-19 human pathology testing capability during the pandemic.
Gemma holds a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) from Bath University (UK) and a PhD from Murdoch University, Perth, Australia.
Gemma is married with two young boys who keep her on her toes. When not ferrying her boys to their various activities, Gemma is one of the Directors at her local Parkrun, and she enjoys swimming, camping and reading.
